Appeal to all descendants of the Ukrainian branch of the Clan - Sons and Daughters of the Netchuk House
The representative of the Netchuk House Club
in Poland and the Office of the Netchuk House - descendants of the
Lithuanian-Ruthenian Kozarowicz-Naczkowicz-Sakowicz family, hereby
announces this appeal to all descendants of the Ukrainian branch of the
Clan - Sons and Daughters of the Netchuk House, who, having left their
homeland in Ukraine, found refuge in the Republic of Poland.
The Polish (western) branch of the family looks with concern and
concern upon the difficult and painful fate of the Blood Brothers and
Sisters from the Ukrainian (eastern) branch of the Netchuk Clan, who in
recent years have been forced to abandon their homes and family nests,
which they often inhabited for over 300-400 years in central and
eastern Ukraine. The Russian aggression against the homeland of the
eastern branch of our House led to an unprecedented exodus of Netczuks
from their native land, contributing to the near-complete disappearance
of the Netczuks, Netyczuks, and Nitczuks in Ukraine.
Since 2014, over 40 representatives of the eastern branch have arrived
in Poland and other European countries, many of whom have traveled
further to western Europe. We invite all Netczuks to join the Club. Our
work aims to restore all Netczuks to their proper place among the
descendants of individual branches and lines from illustrious
ancestors: the Lithuanian Naczowiczs, the Neczkowskis
(including
Krzysztof Hetman of Zaporozhian Army 1596-97), and others. Each lineage
will find its place in the tree as part of our project on MyHeritage.
We invite you to visit our website: https://netczuk.org.

Netczuk Family Archive - Digitization
Work has been
completed on digitizing the first part of the Tadeusz Netczuk Family
Album Collection – the Luzy 01-15
series, which includes several hundred photographs from 1938-1998. The
collections cover the families of Henryka Netczuk, née Puszcz,
and Tadeusz Netczuk, as well as the Steciuk and Wolski families from
Międzyrzec Podlaski and Wrocław.
The impetus for completing the 12-year-long album
digitization project, along with identifying people, dates, and places,
was the sudden illness of Henryka Netczuk, née Puszcz-Bońkowski,
which threatened her life and worsened her health. Only Henryka could
describe many of the people in the old photos, as she was the only one
who knew them from her childhood. We managed to preserve her memories
and remembrance for posterity. We also processed the photos of the
Netczuk, Steciuk, and Wolski families.
If you have old, unlabeled photos, they should be
labeled while the individuals depicted in them are still alive, before
the memories of those immortalized in old photos fade away along with
our relatives.
Inventories with descriptions of photos and archival
units are available in the Netczuk Family Archives. Scans have been
made available on MyHeritage and linked to individuals in the family
tree. Work is underway to digitize the Luzy 16-32
series, new albums, and old albums, as well as to develop electronic
inventories of the archive containing Netczuk documents from 1865
onward.
